Timber Creek OD Green Mil-spec Buffer Tube

The buffer tube comes in a typical plastic case with their branding. Upon opening it I saw some paint missing in a lot of areas all around the tube like it had been used or something. I inspected the inside of the tube to find metal shavings thay were still attached to the outside of the position holes in each of them on the tube. After speaking with customer service they found the rest of their stock was in the same condition. Of course Primary Arms being the awesome people they are issued me an refund which I used to purchase something different on their website. Will continue to be a loyal customer here as they are always friendly and the service is quick and fantastic.

Not pretty, but useable

I can confirm most of the findings of the previous reviewer with the exception of the metal shavings. The finish is not the typical cerakote durable finish. Looks like it was applied incorrectly. However, it's a buffer tube. It will take wear. The finish is not worse than a lot of anodized tubes I have received and will probably still wear better. It's the only OD green buffer tube I can find and it looks OK to me for a decent price, so I'm keeping it.

Look elsewhere

Tube works fine however it was full of metal shavings and the outside was all scratched up. Definitely better quality out there, but I’m doing an OD green build and it matched my furniture perfectly so I am stuck with it.

Quality Part for The Price Point

I have 2 of these and plenty of others that are much more expensive. The quality is better than expected. I was about to order my third and after reading the reviews I noticed my positive review was removed and only negative reviews remain. PA, here’s my second positive review, feel free to remove this one too but you shouldn’t. This buffer extension is great and functions perfectly on a variety of builds. Buy this without hesitation.
