One Small Step For Man........

I can't afford a $100 torque rod and have been using a hinged Brownells clam-shell upper receiver clamp for years but this item changes everything. Simple, easy to use, compact and affordable. I don't know how I managed without it and........you don't have to tilt it radically to keep it from disengaging from the receiver.

Not for PSA AR10

Great for ar15's......but tried on PSA AR10 and did not fit. Still a great product, just keep in mind ar10's are not standard size and fit

Great product, stable even when using a clamp on vice to hold it. Put three upper receivers together in no time flat. Took the forward assist roll pin pounding without any movement. Barrel nut and alignment easy. You put the block's single port end at the barrel end. Used it as an anvil for pounding in the gas block roll pin. Took barrel 30 to 50 ft-lbs torque and the flash hider crush washer torques without any sign of instability. Good stuff. Push pins a little stiff at first but later easy and strong. Haven't tried it on my Aero Precision M5 uppers yet but should work they are DPMS type I format.

While I won't agree that this product is as significant as the lunar landing, I will say it is one giant leap for gunsmithing. I will NEVER use a clam tool again, except maybe for a door stop. Far better than the clam !

Worked great on my aero m5 upper. Very sturdy and strong. Haven't tried with any a of my 15s but see no reason it wouldn't work
