The LaRue Tactical MBT-2S AR-15 Trigger with Straight Bow (MBT-2S-SB) is designed for precision and performance. It features a flat-faced trigger preferred by precision and competition shooters, offering better control and faster shots. Constructed from solid S7 tool steel using CNC machining, this trigger features a 4.5-pound pull weight and a positive reset. It can easily replace the stock trigger in AR10/AR15 lower receivers and includes an extra "heavy" trigger spring for a 6-pound pull if desired.

Excellent Value and Performance

This trigger is amazing for the price tag. It's not as good of a value as it was when it was under $100, but it's still 95%+ as good as more expensive triggers. This should be your go to trigger as it's very crisp and clean. The first stage is very light and then you reach a predictable and clean wall. I didn't feel a need to try the heavy spring that's included.

I purchased one of these directly from LaRue a few months ago. It's my only experience with something other than a mil-spec trigger in an AR15 (I put it in a Radical lower I bought from Primary Arms). I'm quite impressed with the function. Extremely smooth and light pull, hit the wall, slightest pull beyond the wall releases the hammer. Short reset. Comparative reviews I've seen say the competing brand is slightly "crisper", but not worth paying 2.5 times the price, which is what made me choose this over the competing brand. This trigger leaves me desiring nothing more and is my go-to for 2 stage triggers.

One of the best triggers

I replaced my janelle with one of these. I've never had any safety compatibility issues with these triggers unlike the jizelle. This trigger is a little heavier pull, and indiscernibly longer on the reset than my other one but much crisper. You can feel it's s7 tool steel compared to the MIM triggers. This straight trigger is an awesome shape too. Sometimes the gazelle is only $50 more, it may be worth it on a DMR for the lower pull, this trigger I like better though.

I'm an unashamed trigger snob, I bought my first AR in 1976 and have tried dozens of triggers over the years including several Geisseles. This LaRue is just as good or better than all of them and relatively inexpensive. I automatically put one in every new AR get.

These triggers are the best bang for your buck. Sadly this one isn’t skeletonized like my previous 2. Which I bought those 2 directly from Larue. Not a deal breaker. It’s just aesthetically pleasing. The break and reset is no different than a Gizzly trigger. Literally the same trigger! I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. But these triggers are literally the best value. You get that Gizzly performance with half the cost! You won’t be disappointed in it if you get it I assure you.

If it’s an AR rifle, then the LaRue trigger belongs in it. I’ve got four ARs, and all have the MBT. Curved or straight is your choice, but you won’t get any better performance out of any other trigger, no matter how much you pay for it. Truly the definition of “maximum value for the money”.
