Fantastic!

by

This is an outstanding tactical light for the money - 625 lumens! I've dumped my oversized Surefire lights for this one. I have two so far and plan on getting more. A friend of mine on the local PD SWAT team was really impressed by this light. To turn it on, you have the choice of a push button on the tail or you can use the pressure switch. It is also programmable and has a strobe setting. This thing is BRIGHT, way brighter than my Surefires and it's built solid, small and light. I highly recommend this light - it's going on all my AR's that need a light.

Needs smaller pressure switch.

Bought 2 of these. Only complaint is that the pressure switch was very long. Hard to find a place on my rifle that will let switch lay flat.

Same Streamlight durability, perfect for long gun applications

I've found the RailMount 2 to be an excellent rifle light. Bright with a focused beam for long distance, yet with enough splash for clearing houses and vehicles. Excellent battery life and durability, included dual function tape switch will prove useful. The light includes the 10-tap programming so the strobe can be disabled. Pair this with a SureFire Scout style offset mount and you'll be good to go!

A thumbs up for Steamlight 👍

Light comes with a complete package to mount it any way like, no need to purchase anything else extra! Great quality and at it's price point it's tough to beat. 625 lumens is bright enough, you'll see....

Ordering 2 more!

by

I had the light for maybe 2 weeks when the sheriff's dept. had a suspect escape near our home. We have a couple of acres surrounded by woods so I grabbed Thumper, my .458, and searched our property. We have a large barn, a travel trailer & several enclosed trailers on our property. This light is extremely bright & seams to be very durable. The recoil from Thumper didn't faze it either. Works so well that I'm ordering 2 more. I highly recommend it.

Great product, does what it is supposed to do, and I like the functionality of the provided pressure switch

Great light for my AR

Just received my light from Primary Arms. Quickly and easily reprogrammed it for high-low operation. Can't wait to mount it on my AR today. Good price and quick ship from Primary Arms. Will definitely return for more purchases.

For the nice PA pricing on these, I purchased three. 625 lumens is plenty for home defense lighting. They’re lightweight, easy to mount and comes with a tape switch as an option. A lot for the asking price. Thanks again PA. Semperfi

Dependable, Good Throw, Good Spill

This is a great light. The 200+ yard rating they have listed is spot on. It is pretty good all around. I don't know how far a modlite will throw, but this one is far better than the M600, M600 DF, and the HL-X. I've had it for about four years and it hasn't !et me down. I do not like the rail tailswitch though. I don't think it is durable at all, but I did not secure the cord so maybe it flopped around too much. BUT, Arisaka makes a tailswitch converter, which you can use to make these compatible with Surefire switches. It's like 50 bucks shipped. Highly recommended if you like a rail switch and still cheaper than Surefire, which aside from the Turbo, is more of a close range light. This does not throw as far as the high candela lights though like the Rein 2.0.

Great Light

I bought one of these 4 years ago and stuck it on my MK18. This light has been used and abused and still functions like the day I bought it. I actually carry the regular version everday. That one was washed and dried about 3 times and it still works great.
