This Primary Arms prism scope is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms 2.5X Compact Prism Scope with ACSS CQB-M1 reticle is the lightweight, do-everything scope you've been looking for. The low 2.5X magnification and bright illuminated reticle allow for fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the ACSS CQB-M1 reticle allows for easy hits on targets out to an impressive 600 yards. Whether you're looking for a new scope for competition, hunting, or plinking, why look any further?

Features:
  • ACSS 5.56 CQB-M1 reticle has BDC and ranging out to 600 yards with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, 5.45x39mm, and .308 Winchester
  • Fully illuminated reticle is visible even in bright daylight
  • Optional M1913 Picatinny top rail for piggy-backed red dot sights
  • Generous 10.16mm exit pupil allows for a bright sight picture and forgiving eye box
  • 37.5ft field of view at 100 yards provides easier tracking of mobile targets
  • 2.7" of eye relief
  • 1/2 MOA turret clicks are tactile and audible for easy zeroing
  • Tough prism scope is waterproof, fog resistant, and shockproof
  • Durable Type II hardcoat anodized black finish
  • Compatible with standard AR15 carry handle mounts
  • Protected by a lifetime warranty

The heart of the tough 2.5X Prism Scope is the ACSS 5.56 CQB-M1 reticle that combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is used for close quarters engagement, simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and run with it! Each side of the horseshoe also has the integrated ranging system. Place the bottom of the target on the bottom rung and range up. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, they can be ranged on the side Auto Range system, or directly on the BDC hold overs! Two dots on either side of the inner horseshoe offer a moving target lead moving with an average speed of 8.6 MPH. As an added bonus, the glass etched reticle does not require batteries or illumination, but 11 brightness settings (including daylight bright) allow for fast acquisition in close quarters, or enhanced visibility in fading light, powered by a common CR2032 battery!

The PAC2.5X offers mounting flexibility to suit your needs. The included 1913 MIL-STD Picatinny thumbscrew mount can be removed and replaced with any mount that accepts AR-15 carry handle-type optics, or simply so you can mount the 2.5x Prism Scope directly to an AR-15 style carry handle. Optionally, shooters can add an M1913 picatinny rail to the top of the optic to piggyback a red dot back up sight. The PAC2.5X offers the perfect amount of magnification to balance close quarters speed with hits at medium range, in a flexible and durable package.

I should get a commission!

by

I have a couple of Burris AR332s which I like a whole lot. But when Primary Arms offered killer deals on this model, I bought a couple. Their price right now is still perfectly reasonable, especially with free shipping and given the current climate. I love this optic, more than the AR332 with which I was perfectly happy. These are lighter than the Burris but just as quick to get on target and the elevation dots work great. I had two friends out to shoot a couple months ago and they were really impressed. Now that this optic is back in stock, they are both buying for themselves. I should be getting a commission for this!

Great quality for value

Put this on an M16A4 clone. Little locktite on the screws holding it to the mount and on the rail bolts. And it shoots well. Battery life is a bit short but as it is an etched reticle it is usable under 0 illumination. Glass is clear and clean. For a $200 budget friendly medium range optic you can't go wrong.

Sure a Trijicon or something will be better, but at the same time you're going to pay double, if not more. For those of you just getting into optics, those of you conscious for budgets, or those of you who would rather save the money to spend on ammo instead, this is a great option and I am 100% satisfied.

Perfect for my needs.

Easy to mount and very clear glass. Iight weight and I can use with both eyes open. Seems to be holding zero on 7.62x39 ar.

Fast easy target acquisition even at close range

by

After adjusting the optic it is clear and crisp. Make sure you use blue thread locker on the screws that hold the mount on and the thumb screws that tighten to the picatinny rail. Once sighted in I was able to achieve fast accurate hits on small targets easily at 100 yards. The glass is very clear and the field of view is tremendous. I can even rapidly acquire targets at incredibly close ranges as well so there is no need for offset irons.

Pretty good, However, remember to tighten the screws

Purchased 2 of them, have one on a 5.56 upper and the other on a 300 Noticed the 300 was grouping very well, figured out I didn't tighten the screws that hold the optic to the base.

Also, while the pictures show a nice, enlarged reticle, looking through them, the reticle is TINY and it is quite difficult to pick up the individual dots in a hurry

Best bang for your buck🇺🇸

You will be hard pressed to beat this optic!

I haven't found its limit yet

I am a new target shooting enthusiast. This thing is easy to zero after watching YouTube videos. Good solid clicks with each adjustment. Make sure to secure the nuts holding it on with a socket by hand and it won't come off or loosen. At 25 yards I can shoot 556 inside of a quarter all day long with a 16" barrel. At 50 yards its more like a pack of gum. At 100 yards I can shoot inside of a floppy disk. I have put about 500 rounds down range with it and am making tweeks here and there as I learn more. This thing is solid. The lighted reticle is nice but so far I prefer to shoot with it off. You won't regret picking one of these up.

Excellent

The bdc works for 7.62x39 russian out to 400 yards according to Strelok pro !

Excellent CQB and mid range optic!!!

by

I have a couple of these and love them!!! The only thing I will recommend, is putting loctite on the bolts that hold the optic to the mounting base. The glass is clear, the etching is excellent quality, and they hold zero through hard abuse.

Great optic for my 11.5
