This Trijicon RMR Type 2 features a 6.5 MOA red dot which is the largest available in the LED reflex models. The Ruggedized Miniature Reflex sight was designed to improve the speed and accuracy of nearly any small arms weapon platform. Incredibly lightweight, the RMR red dot sight provides a simplified and open sight picture, allowing the shooter to simply place the red dot on the target, rather than focusing on aligning iron sights.

The Type 2 has seen a host of improvements hardening the optic against arguably the most damaging application: handgun slide mounts. The durable forged aluminum housing features new tactile click-adjustments for easier and more secure zeroing. The electronics have been ruggedized and easily controlled with ambidextrous power controls.

Awesome

Love it. It's a Trijicon RMR, so I trust it with my life. Just very pricey and the window is smaller than my Holosun HS507c and Vortex Viper, but overall love it and prefer 6.5 MOA over smaller.

6.5 is easier to pick up under stress. Dot's about the size of a BB held at arm's length. You can manually up the brightness on a 3.25MOA but can’t rely on auto brightness then. As for covering up the target, it’s 3” at 50 yards. At 75 yards, for 9mm you need to hold at the bottom of the dot, and 100 yards a dot distance above the target. Dot size is useful for holdover estimation. 6.5 is worse for astigmatism in dim lighting, get more ghosting; only matters if you're trying to shoot past 50 yards in dim light. 6.5 is better for defense IMO. The auto-adjust works great: .1 seconds to go from min to full brightness. In complete darkness it looks like a red tritium reticle in an ACOG. Can turn down further manually for NVG use. Window is small but becomes a non-issue with training. Non-blacked-out suppressor iron sights help with alignment. Def pick up the Trijicon sealing plate kit if mounting this on a MOS. Vibratite VC-3 us better than blue locktite for that application. TLDR: get it.

Beautiful

Well lets see. Very fast shipping paid for 2 day shipping 👍 got it was beautiful but for almost $500 had a couple dings and a painted over scratch like trijicon painted over a little scratch? Lol I blame trijicon for this. You pay a whole lot of your hard earning money those cheep skates can at least give you a brand new one with no dings no scratches come on trijicon. And give you a sealing plate with at least 5 different sets of screws. Other then that Primary arms gets A+ Trijicon gets a flat B.. Hey trijicon lower your prices and give more options to screw it on other slides step it up. 5 star is only bc this company got my Rmr to me asap thank you. If it was trijicon it would of been 3 stars...

All weapons should this SET UP !

This should come as a standard equipment on all firearms. Fast target acquisition and no matter where the dot is, pull the trigger and it hits. Yes, both eyes open.

Give it a week to get used to and you will even improve on iron sights. Just place the dot on your dominant eye every time and you will see the dot.

Didn't care for it

I had two issues with the Trijicon RMR and I returned it to primary Arms. The first issue was the coatings on the lens substantially decreases light transmission through the optical window, and the optic just ever-so-slightly magnified the target. Both of these issues created a double-image effect for me. I ended up getting a Holosun 508T instead.

Perfect Choice

Perfect balance of size and fit, not too big not too small. Large red dot ensures easy acquisition especially as I get older. Four year battery life is amazing. Turn it on and don't worry about it for a couple of years. This is my go to Red Dot for future optic ready handguns.
