On top of the ATLAS R-ONE handguard is a full-length 15-inch Picatinny rail offering plenty of landscape for your favorite accessories. The ATLAS R-ONE is Aero Precision's Aero Taper Lock Attachment System that features twin tapered locking nuts designed to distribute any clamping pressure evenly on the Aero Precision custom-built, machined barrel nut. If you've had your eyes on the S-ONE handguard, note that the R-One has the exact same low-profile features but comes with an integrated Picatinny rail. Although the ATLAS R-ONE has an inside diameter of only 1.3 inches, it's still compatible with most low-profile gas blocks. The ATLAS R-ONE also integrates seamlessly with the Aero M4E1 threaded upper receivers and is compatible with most Mil-Spec receivers, which means you have a wealth of configuration options on your build. Quick-detach sling sockets are a feature of the ATLAS R-ONE handguard that's proven to be an oversight for many AR15 aftermarket manufacturers.
