If you are looking to build a lightweight AR-15 that is still very durable, the Atlas R-ONE handguard is one right for you. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and featuring a proprietary barrel nut system makes sure that your rail is not going anywhere and doesn't allow for any rotation. ATLAS stands for Aero Taper Lock Attachment System, featuring two tapered locking nuts that evenly distribute clamping pressure on the barrel nut. This Aero Precision handguard retains the slim profile from the S-ONE series of free float handguards, except that it has a full-length picatinny top rail for more space for attachments like IR aiming devices. This Aero Precision ATLAS R-ONE handguard fits perfectly on the Aero M4E1 upper receiver and is compatible with Mil-Spec receivers.
