The 16” barrel is machined from Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a salt bath Nitride finish and a 1:7 twist rate for stabilizing heavier rounds. Aero is always top-notch value. This upper is worth almost twice its price as is most Aero stuff. Excellent build quality and performance. The M4E1 receivers and Atlas handguards are SEXY as hell too.
Great Value Upper

I purchased one of these uppers on sale. The fit and finish is very good. I function checked it at an indoor range and I’m very happy with the results. It’s relatively light weight and functioned flawlessly . For as much as I could discern at 25 yards, it is accurate. It does heat up quickly, but that’s the trade off for lighter weight.
I plan to shoot groups it at 100yd soon. From what I can tell, it should be more than accurate enough.
One of the best uppers

Light weight, durable, tough and sleek. I bought this on sale and man did I score big! No figment issues with mags, bcg’s, changing handles etc. A very well built upper. The light weight however results in on getting hot very fast after around 15 mags of casual shooting. This is easily mitigated by using good quality handguard covers such as the Magpul type 2’s or your favorite mlok covers. I’m running the manta defense rail and mlok covers, which makes it feels like there’s no heat even after 20 mags. Besides it heating up quickly, it’s a perfect budget upper for the average Joe who’s not as high speed as our operators out here!

Own 7 Aero uppers, never a problem. You can spend thousands, but why? I own BCM, and D.D. also, so I know quality. Buy ammo and good optics with the money you save.

Unbeatable for the price! I own many different AR's at many price levels. This is truly a sweetspot of value for dollar!
