Crafted from sturdy 6061-T6 aluminum, this free float handguard offers a stable platform that minimizes optical deflection, ensuring your IR laser maintains its zero. The handguard secures to the upper receiver using the supplied steel barrel nut, reducing point-of-impact shifts when using modern laser or infrared aiming devices.

Note: The MOD 4 Handguards are optimized for Aero Precision’s M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers and PRO series components but are also compatible with Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers.

This 15” handguard features an OD green anodized finish for lasting durability. It includes a full-length Picatinny rail and seven sides of M-LOK slots for accessory attachment. The steel-reinforced QD sockets provide a reliable interface for sling attachment. Installation is straightforward with the barrel nut design that eliminates the need for timing and has the same lug pattern as mil-spec castle nuts, allowing you to use a castle nut wrench instead of a specialized tool. Additionally, two anti-rotation set screws are provided for a secure fit on third-party upper receivers.
