The Aero Precision SOLUS Barreled Short Action in .308 Winchester is designed for builders who want a custom rifle without the hassle of headspacing the barrel themselves. This pre-assembled component combines a SOLUS short action with a 20" M24 profile barrel chambered in .308 Win.

The SOLUS short action features a Remington 700 footprint for broad compatibility with R700 pattern triggers and aftermarket parts. It has a 60-degree bolt throw, integral 20 MOA top rail for mounting optics, 3-lug interchangeable bolt head, dual ejectors, and a "cock on lift" bolt design for smooth operation.

The M24 profile barrel is made from high-quality steel and finished with a durable Elite Cerakote for corrosion resistance. It has a 5/8x24 thread pattern at the muzzle to allow for attaching muzzle devices. The barrel also boasts a 1:10 twist rate, suitable for stabilizing a wide range of bullet weights, and has been honed and lapped for improved accuracy.
