Details

The American Defense Recon one-piece scope mount is an excellent option for adding high-power glass to your AR-pattern rifle. The straight up design has no built-in eye relief, while providing clearance for optics with up to 56mm objectives. Like all American Defense mounts it is precision machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish for long service life.

This mount will place optics to a central height of 1.38" making it ideal for AR-pattern rifles.

Featuring ADM's QD Auto Lock Lever system, the AD-RECON can be fully adjusted without tools to accommodate most Picatinny rail systems. This glove friendly locking system ensures the mount will not move until you need to remove it, and provides exceptional return to zero with mounted optics. It is also fully covered by American Defense's lifetime warranty.

ADM Recon 1" Review.

I got this mount to hold my Nikon M-223 scope on my AR. I was looking at LaRue QD mount as they're known as the best and a friend told me about ADM. So, I bit the bullet and ordered one. I've had it on my AR for about 5 months now and I must say it's one hell of a mount. It's rugged, good looking and easy to use. The QD mounts lock solid without being insanely tight on the gun. What's even better is I've removed the scope/mount from the gun a couple times now with complete return to zero accuracy, which really surprised me. I'm talking DEAD ON return to zero. It's a rock solid mount. It may be more expensive than some of the other mounts, though not as much as LaRue, but it’s totally worth it. You don’t have to worry about losing zero when removing the scope for cleaning or transport. It’s only made better by the excellent service and prices from the best AR parts supplier in Texas, Primary Arms.

Mounts very snug and the QD mount is very low profile off the side. First day on the range it was holding my trijicon accupoint it held zero perfectly. Rang the steel at 500yds consistently!

This is my second AD Recon mount and I love them very well made easy to adjust and them hold zero. If you need a quick release mount for your scope you can't miss with an AD Recon mount.
