Armor Express Rampart NIJ Level III+ Stand Alone Plate - Single Curve - Shooters Cut - 10x12"

The Armor Express Rampart Series Standalone Ballistic Plate offers protection against a wide range of special rifle-caliber threats. The Rampart is a standalone plate, granting its protective capabilities with a ballistic vest or a non-ballistic plate carrier.

This plate uses advanced composite UHMWPE materials, offering reliable protection without the typical disadvantages of a metal plate. It features a flexible design to allow for maximum mobility and is light weight without sacrificing protection. 

The Rampart offers what Armor Express refers to as “Level III+” protection, which comprises multiple certifications: Certified NIJ 0101.06 Level III, DEA Hard Armor Protocol compliant, and Rifle Special Threats (RST) Validated. 

It will stop at least one of each of the following:

• 7.62x51mm NATO, M80 ball (2780 ft/s) and M61 armor-piercing (2776 ft/s)
• 7.62x54mmR, LPS ball (2915 ft/s)
• 7.62x39mm, BZ armor-piercing incendiary (2380 ft/s), and PS mild steel-core ball (2380 ft/s) 
• 5.56x45mm NATO, M855 green tip ball (3117 ft/s), and M193 ball (3150 ft/s)

This plate is single-curved with a shooter’s cut, providing the wearer with a good compromise between vitals coverage and comfort when moving or aiming. This model is the 10” by 12” version, weighing 4.3 lbs and possessing a thickness of 1.1”.
