Exceptionally well built

I have owned several Benchmade knives over the years and was recently in the market for a new one. The small, lightweight models don’t particularly appeal to my old school views of what a good knife feels like. I took a chance and ordered this Crooked River model and am very happy with the purchase. The size and weight are well proportioned and the sturdiness of the locking mechanism and hinge are top notch. The stabilized wood handle gives me that old school vibe but the build quality and edge retention are definitely better than the knives of my youth. Excellent product, may very well outlast me.
