The PX4 Storm is a modular design constructed of lightweight fiberglass reinforced polymer with steel inserts. The frame and slide are mostly smooth and snag free, which is a benefit when using the pistol from a holster, yet the front and rear slide serrations create enough grip to operate the slide effectively even in wet conditions. The pistol grip features a non-slip textured surface with 3 interchangeable backstraps which allow you to customize the firearm to your hand.The PX4 Storm features an ambidextrous slide mounted manual safety and decocking lever, which is a common feature on many Beretta pistols. The design also features a firing pin block for added safety. The magazine release button is reversible and can be changed from the left to right side depending on shooter hand preference. This Beretta pistol also features a short recoil, rotating barrel action which helps to minimize felt recoil.A nice feature on the PX4 Storm is the Picatinny rail large enough to accept most weapon mounted lights and other accessories.
