The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter in 6.8 Western is a refined bolt-action rifle that blends classic style with modern upgrades. Its 24” sporter contour barrel keeps it lightweight and easy to handle, while a free-floating barrel and bedded action ensure consistent accuracy. The walnut stock with a low-glare satin finish offers a traditional feel, complemented by a redesigned action for smoother cycling. The new bolt knob and 60° short bolt lift allow for fast operation, and the DLX Trigger delivers a crisp, creep-free pull, factory set at 3.5 lbs (adjustable to 3.0 lbs). Safety is enhanced with a bolt unlock button and top-tang safety, while the X-Lock Scope Mounting System secures optics with four screws per base for a rock-solid setup.
