CMMG AR-15 Ambidextrous Safety Selector

Most ambi safety selector switches you see have one side longer than the other. I use the "strong side" to engage my safety and the "weak side" to disengage. While the length being the same for both sides is nice, it gives me more switch to disengage easier, it causes a particular issue. Because the "weak side" is longer, it pushes into my finger when I'm shooting. Not really a big deal until you're gripping tightly, or having a long range day. Then it starts being very annoying to have something pressing into your hand. The fit and finish of these are great, but I wish the "weak side" selector was shorter.

I wrote a long review with plenty of details before, and it didn't seem to go through, so now I'll just say that it's a good product from a good company, but it could be better. Both sides of the selector are the same length and it causes discomfort to manipulate and shoot. I wish that one side was shorter than the other.

I see people complaining about the levers being the same Length, it makes me wonder then why did you buy it and the write a negative review? I find them to be perfectly fine being the same length. I’m into symmetry, would you have a smaller Tire on the right side of your Car? If you Looked at the picture before you bought it then maybe you would have bought a different model. Once again, cmmg comes through with a fine product. This ambi safety is perfect! Also, the person complaining about the arms being the same size should never have purchased this safety in the first place. You shouldn’t have purchased this safety to begin with. There were plenty of other safeties with different size arms.
