In theory, but some downsides too.

In theory this works by keeping your BCG more inline, maybe it does it’s hard to tell. My BCG is a Geissele Enhanced BCG and is probably the smoothest out of all the mil spec, nitrate, NiB and chrome ones I’ve had over the years. It’s hard to tell if it’s making it smoother by keeping it inline. The minor draw back to this is if your rifle is pivoted forward when you go to close it- it won’t close without you pushing back the bufffer a little to clear the bolt. The bigger inconvenience is that you can no longer push out the rear pivot pin only and open your rifle. The buffer kinda locks in the bolt so you can’t open the rifle. To open it you have to push out both pivot pins and separately the upper from the lower completely.
