The Colt Carbine H1 Buffer is designed for AR-15, M4, and carbine platforms. It features one weight made from tungsten and two weights from steel for a weight of 3.8 oz. Heavier than a standard buffer, the H1 buffer can help reduce felt recoil and prevent the bolt from unlocking too soon after a round is fired.
