Small EDC knives that are still functional are hard to find but the CRKT Squid manages to pull it off. Designed by Lucas Burnley, the Squid is based off of an extremely compact custom-made knife. With a blade length of 2.25” and a handle thickness less than half an inch, this folding knife can comfortably fit in any pocket. It also features a low-profile tip up pocket carry clip. This manual opening knife uses the thumb stud opening mechanism to keep the overall closed profile extremely small. The frame lock is similar in function to more popular liner lock mechanisms; however, frame locks utilize the thicker steel of the frame for a sturdier lock-up. The drop point blade on the Squid offers a more durable point while still retaining enough of a belly for slicing. The single plain edge features the common hollow grind that is designed for cutting. The CRKT Squid is great for everyday carry where the only time you notice it is when you need it.

This folding pocket knife is made from corrosion resistant stainless steel and features a unique stonewashed look. The bottom of the handle also has an integrated lanyard loop for carrying extra paracord while your hiking. The spine of the blade has jimping for extra grip while cutting and the handle scales are beveled for comfort.
