Fantastic BCG. The black nitride makes it super easy to clean and eases into the chamber. Had a few buddies that have built multiple ARs and had amazing things to say about Cross Machine and glad to say that I’m happy I listened to them
Not what was advertised

Not the quality you would expect from this company.
Also, the bolts being shipped are not what is shown in pictures.
Tons of unfinished machining marks, sharp edges, and rough milling.
Bolt carriers are hard to come by right now, so im going to run the crap out of this, and see how she holds up.
But in comparison to spikes, American defense, aero, toolcraft, rubber city, and all my mill spec phosphate bolts.... This one looks, and feels to be Sub Par.
Think twice before buying.

Only ~100 rounds through this so far, but it has been flawless in performance and no hiccups. Would recommend fully.

Excellent craftsmanship from CMT. Shipped in a protective case. Arrived within a week of placing the order. Haven’t had time to complete the build so no review on performance yet.

I have built many ARs and use a wide variety of BCGs from the cheapest to $250+. I know this is hard to believe but this is easily the best running BCG I have. With about 2k rounds fired on different builds I haven’t had one F2F or issues whatsoever.
These are extremely well built and run incredibly. Look no further
BCG unusable due to defect

I thought I got a steal of a deal for a well made part, although when I attempted to fit it into my ar15 pistol, it wouldn't fully go, the bolt was hitting something. I determined it wasn't my gun (barrel) by also trying it in another AR15. Both my pistol and other AR15 had BCGs already, FailZero Nib and Rubber City Armory, respectively, and had no issues with fitment let alone function when shooting. This Cross Machine and Tool BCG just isn't quit up to specifications and is therefore unusable. I am sending back and getting another RCA bolt carrier group to change out my FailZero.
I hate being the only one to give a negative review on what seems like an outstanding product based on other reviews but, I'd rather others know.
As they say, buyer beware.
