Every firearm enthusiast knows about and appreciates the quality products that Dead Air produces and for those that own a Dead Air suppressor or muzzle brake could never imagine using anything else. But the Dead Air Thread Spacer is the part most rimfire shooters really need, without knowing they need it.
Features:
Not all threads on rimfire firearms are the same length and can easily be adapted to fit a Dead Air suppressor. The Thread Spacer by Dead Air changes that makes those barrels that are longer than the standard 0.4", accessible to be fitted with a Dead Air Mask-HD suppressor.
In essence a thread spacer is designed for rimfire rifles or pistols that have longer threads, which prevents the suppressor from sitting snug and flush with the end of the barrel, or commonly referred to as "bottom out." By adding a spacer, that additional thread is used and the suppressor then "bottoms out" onto the spacer, making for a clean finish on the end of the barrel and a perfect alignment.
The Dead Air Thread Spacer ensures the suppressor performs at the optimal level by providing it with the correct chamber space, while reducing the risk of baffle erosion. With internal threads the spacer can remain on the firearm even after the suppressor has been removed.
Features:
- Thread pitch of 1/2 - 28
- Ideal for rimfire weapons
- Compatible with Mask-HD suppressor
- For barrel threads longer than 0.4 in
