Details

The Diamondback Firearms DB15 AR-15 barreled upper receiver is chambered in 5.56 NATO and features a 16 inch 4150 CMV barrel with a durable black nitride finish, carbine length gas system, and 15 inch SL M-LOK handguard for a perfect blend of lightness and durability. The DB15 upper is constructed from a mil-spec 7075-T6 aluminum with type III hard coat finish for maximum corrosion resistance. This upper features a full length picatinny top rail for optics and accessory mounting, and ample M-LOK accessory attachment slots.

fantastic upper

I purchased this upper back in july with a BCG from DB as well and after hundreds of rounds i have had 0 malfunctions although i can not judge its accuracy as i am limited to 20 meters maximum range.

Works, but fit isn't perfect

My upper receiver arrived a while back. It is accurate, but the rail and the upper receiver do not line up. The rail on the handguard is almost 1/8" lower than the upper receiver and it won't line up.
Too late to do anything about it, but just a heads up.

Budget upper

Bought this during Armageddon for $300. Fits snug on my palmetto lower with no rattle. Get 1.5 moa groups @ 50yrds. Enough for combat. Carbine gas length kicks harder than mid length. It's a steal right now for $230.

Had this for couple months now and it's been great added a microbest bcg , and a radian charging handle and put about 300 or so rounds down range and it's been great. I wish I would have bought two before it was out of stock

Mediocre Finish, Outstanding Performance

The finish on my upper was rough and felt weird in my hands, almost like 1500 grit sandpaper. However, I have had a zero malfunctions with my upper and I’ve put several hundred rounds through it so far.

This is a really good upper for a budget AR build.
