This 16-inch barrel from Diamondback Firearms is chambered to handle a .308 Winchester round that requires a significant amount of pressure in the chamber to achieve muzzle velocities of over two thousand feet per second. However, this barrel from Diamondback Firearms is designed to handle every bit of the load and continue to perform. Featuring a light profile of 4150 Chrome Moly, Diamondback Firearms coats the 16-inch barrel with a tough coating of black nitride and supports a mid-length gas system.
This barrel also optimizes the .308 round effectiveness at incredible distances of a thousand feet or better with a 1:10 inch twist. The muzzle thread of this barrel from Diamondback Firearms sports a muzzle thread of 5/8 x 24 inches, has a button-rifled 6-groove bore, and an eleven-target crown that preserves the integrity of the barrel's rifling even after thousands of rounds. Priced competitively at barely one hundred dollars, this barrel from Diamondback Firearms will make an excellent addition to your build or upgrade.

Rough Chamber
by Brian H
This is a good barrel for the price, and I've bought two of these. They are light weight and accurate, but both barrels I bought had rough chambers and they needed to be polished. After polishing, the barrel is great!

Port hole was under sized
Decent, But...

Got this one on sale, but had a minor issue. The gas port was undersized, and had to open the gas port a few thousandths to be able to lock bolt back/chamber a new round. It's light weight, has decent accuracy and was a good deal.
