Diamondback Firearms M-LOK AR-15 Handguard - PA Exclusive - 15"

Overall, would rate this a really good handguard, lightweight, m-lok throughout, I would say it's good for any light use to moderate use, if you plan to beat the heck out of it I would look for something more durable. It doesn't come with any instructions for torque spec for the barrel nut, so I followed the 30-80, foot lbs recommendation for mil-spec barrel nuts and torqued mine down to 60-foot lbs.

Also, this does not come with a wrench for tightening down the barrel nut, I asked Primary Arms what size I would need for a crowfoot wrench head and was told "the standard." When I pressed what the standard was, I was told 1-1/8. This is incorrect, you will need a 1-3/16 crowfoot wrench head to torque the barrel nut down correctly.

I wanted to love this hand guard as it's super light and looks great, but after installing on my new upper I saw that the hand guard just wouldn't line up straight with my barrel. I retorqued and even tried to lower the torque to get it to straighten out and it just wouldn't go on straight enough for me. Took it apart and threw on another nut/hand guard that went on dead straight, so it was 100% the new nut and hand guard. Maybe I got a bad one, but like I said, very light and pretty and the barrel nut cleared my gas tube just fine, just out of spec enough for me to want to return it.

Decent option for a 15"FF handguard. Not bad, but you get what you pay for. Holds securely and will do everything needed for a range /light duty gun.

Decent barrel nut, and handguard lockup when screws are torqued. Handguard has anti rotation tabs built in.

Bottom of HG is actually not inline and is dropped down from the rest of the handguard, to me that is a pro as I can fit a thicker barrel and ensure the mlok screws do not make contact when my foregrip is attached as they ride in that slot.

It's thinner material than my BCM mcmr. It's nice that it's lighter in weight. However it is easier to flex the handguard at the same time. With normal use. This should not be an issue.

Machining is Decent and had no sharp spots. However it's not perfectly straight like my mcmr is. Close enough for irons. But slightly off center. A lightweight psa hg I have has this same issue.

Overall, Decent. Especially if you get this on sale.

This Mlok Handguard is lightweight as f***, fits perfectly snug to the barrel and M lok on all sides with a full pic rail on top. Just buy it. The quality is great

Lined right up to the upper, fits well and does not move. Very nice finish for my Rosco Slimline barrel. Excellent lightweight combination. The textured ceracoat feels great in a working mans hands, there is no slip. *The manicured desk jockey may not care for this, however those who work with their hands and earn their living through hard work will appreciate this texture. The flat black is a nice compliment to the bead blast finish of Rosco Purebred Barrels.

Good fit and finish on this rugged handguard. Excellent for a duty rifle, a gun that will be used often. Nothing fancy, just a well made handguard.

Makes me wonder why other handguards are 2-3x as much. Good fit, nice finish and feels good on my rifle.

Food secure fit against the upper receiver. Solid barrel nut and clears the gas block without issue. Excellent no frills design
