The Diamondback Firearms DB15 Free Float M-LOK AR-15 Handguard is one of the easiest and most useful upgrades you can make to your standard M4 style rifle. The free float design and barrel nut attachment system is extremely rigid and ensures your handguard won’t rotate or move over time and keeps your iron sights zeroed. Additionally, the free float design prevents any accuracy anomalies from loading into your bipod or pressing your rifle against a barricade or any other task that—on a standard two-piece handguard—would impart pressure on your barrel and cause rounds to land somewhere you are not aiming. The DB15 free float handguard is forged from heavy duty and lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum and Mil-Spec hardcoat anodized for protection from corrosion and wear. In addition to the lightening cuts to reduce weight, the DB15 handguard features M-LOK attachment slots along 7 sides for ultimate versatility when customizing your rifle with accessories. 7075 Free float Handguard!

I was looking for a rail for my X39 build using the diamond back 10" bbl that I got on a sale & this caught my eye due to the 7075 material used. handguards are usually 6061 & 7075 is supposed to be stronger aluminum & the same as is used for forged lowers. I think the bbl nut is steel because it feels heavier than the the aluminum bbl nuts on other handguards I've used. Bonus points for that. Very happy w/the look, light weight and features of this handguard. Will buy another if I get the itch to do another build. How about a 12" rail for a 12.5" bbl build? that would look awesome!

Very comfortable

This is my favorite handguard. I am new to working on the AR platform. Can't say it was super easy to install for me. It was a bit of work and torque to get this installed. But it came with all the parts needed. Once installed it is tight. Super comfortable in the hand. Perfectly centered around the barrel. Plenty of mlok attachment holes. I took a chance on it when it was on sale. I would buy it again.

Exceeded expectations

This handguard definitely exceeded my expectations. I wanted to hurry up and finish a build that I had been working on and for half the price of the handguard that I wanted to go with I decided on this one instead. Definitely don’t regret my choice. Fits nice and snug with no issues whatsoever.

Nice handguard

Purchased this to go on my 22lr AR upper, but after receiving it I swapped it onto my main 5.56 upper instead. Barrel nut is beefy and well machined, and the handguard looks and feels very good.

Made with top notch material.

Just picked this up at a unbelievable price compared to other manufacturers. The 7075T material is a huge plus for ruggedness and durability. I’m buying another at this price! Not sure how they kept price down to a very affordable point.

Great budget handguard

Fit and finish was better than expected. It has anti-rotation tabs, so if you are using a billet upper it could present a problem depending on the upper. Barrel nut requires a 1-3/16" crowfoot. I would definitely buy again.

Nice for pistol build

Using this on a pistol build and it is a quality Handgaurd. One thing to note if using on a pistol build, it will not accept a 1.36" flash can like my factory DB pistol upper. order the 1.2".
