This Expo Arms Extended 9mm Carbine Buffer comes in at a heavy 8 ounces to ensure your blowback AR-9 runs smoothly with limited recoil. It is designed specifically to work with 9mm Bolts and the extended length helps to accommodate the different dimensions. However, it works with a standard AR-15 carbine buffer tube and Mil-Spec carbine recoil springs. Comes with a red rubber bumper to prevent damage to the buffer tube if it bottoms out. Building your 9mm PCC just got better with the Expo Arms 9mm Carbine Buffer.

Features:

  • Designed for 9mm AR-15 bolts
  • Extended length with red rubber bumper
  • Heavy 8 ounce weight for reliability with blowback systems
  • For use with Mil-Spec and commercial buffer tubes only
  • Compatible with AR-15 carbine recoil springs

Expo Arms offers top-quality MIL-SPEC AR-15 components at rock bottom prices. Made in the U.S.A. and covered by Expo’s Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects, material or workmanship problems, and even normal wear and tear.

Not Primary Arms Fault

by -

Michael beat me to it. It's a solid buffer. I'm sure Primary Arms used the description provided by the manufacturer, so I don't blame them one bit. But when the manufacturer describes this as "designed for blowback AR9's" and as a way to reduce or eliminate bolt bounce, anyone who knows what they are doing when they build an AR9 takes that to mean it has sliding weights. That's like buying a "milspec bolt", and receiving an item that doesn't look right, and later you realize it was built to 1964's military specifications.

It is solid (not sliding weights)

I bought this because of the price. It is a solid chunk of steel. I wanted something with siding weights.

Works like a charm

This buffer runs very well with a standard AR-15 carbine buffer tube and spring.

Extar Ep9

Ordered for my PDW carry firearm Extar Ep9mm works flawlessly no hiccups or bad round feeds definitely feel a lot less recoil compared to stock buffer tube

Must have for 9mm pcc

Functions flawlessly in my 7.5" build with precision defense bcg and stern defense adapter with glock mags. Running standard carbine spring and runs great!
