The Faxon ARAK-21 XRS redefines what a modern rifle can be by fusing the strengths of the AR-15 and AK-47 into one innovative platform. Built around a monolithic upper receiver with a long-stroke gas piston system, the ARAK-21 delivers smooth, clean operation with the reliability of an AK and the modularity of an AR.

At the heart of this rifle is a rugged, billet-machined upper receiver made from 6061-T6 aluminum, complete with quad Picatinny rails for full accessory support. The system is designed to run cool and clean, thanks to its adjustable four-position gas system, including a suppressed and single-shot mode. An ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging handle offers flexibility for any shooter, and the bolt rides on steel rails for smooth cycling and long-term durability.

The XRS variant includes Faxon’s proprietary lower, crafted from 7075-T6 aluminum and shaped specifically to complement the ARAK upper. While it accepts standard AR-15 lower parts kits, it's uniquely designed and not compatible with traditional AR uppers.
