When fired in a 4” test barrel, the American Eagle® 9mm Luger 115 gr Full Metal Jacket generates a muzzle velocity of 1,180 ft/s and a muzzle energy of 356 ft-lbf. The velocity and energy decline to 1,048 ft/s and 280 ft-lbf, respectively, at 50 yards.
