The Forward Controls Design Ambidextrous AR-15 Extended Magazine Release with serrated texturing comes with an OD Green finish and is an easy way to improve the ergonomics of your Mil-Spec lower receiver. The EMR-A-EXT was designed specifically to function with Mil-Spec AR lower receivers without any permanent modification needed. This ambi mag release is positioned in the same spot as the right side mag release to improve ergonomics and features their multi-faceted control surface (MCS) that follows the contours of your finger for a more tactile feel. The magazine button itself is also low profile to not interfere with the bolt catch and comes with an extra power spring to prevent accidental activation. Upgrade your standard lower by installing the FCD AR-15 ambidextrous extended magazine release.

Note: Not compatible with most anti-rotation pins and is not recommended for use with AR-308 lower receivers or billet receivers.

This model features the extended length button that allows for greater leverage and easier activation for faster magazine changes. The magazine buttons are made from 7075-T6 aluminum while the catch is made from 4140 stainless steel and is shorter than a standard mag catch shaft to keep it low profile.
