Forward Controls Design Heavy Enhanced Magazine Release Button - Nitrided 4140 Steel - Dimpled - FDE

Forward Controls Design EMR-H or Enhanced Magazine Release, Heavy is optimized so that it provides just enough extra height for easy activation while still staying low profile enough that it doesn’t create a snag point for your index finger. This Forward Controls Design Heavy Enhanced Magazine Release Button features the dimpled surface option and an FDE finish. The EMR-H installs using a Mil-Spec through hole and is only .02-inches taller than an OEM AR15 mag release. Forward Controls chose heavy duty 4140 steel for the EMR-H because it is an integral part of the AR’s function and while aluminum is chosen for many magazine buttons, the strength benefits of 4140 steel far surpass any weight saving benefit from gained from aircraft aluminum. Many aftermarket over-sized magazine releases protrude too far past the lower’s button fence which can result in accidental mag dumps but a Forward Controls Design EMR-H barely protrudes out yet still offers plenty of opportunity for speedy activation.
