Forward Controls Design LDFA (Low Drag Forward Assist) for AR platforms is designed to work in-conjunction with your ambidextrous charging handle. The standard forward assist can be cumbersome, especially if you’re using the right side of your charging handle, often resulting in a scraped knuckle, mashed fingertip, or ripped off fingernail. The LDFA features a reduced size and rimless design, so it not only saves you from busting your hand, but also eliminates another snag point on your rifle.

Features:
  • Rimless Plunger
  • Snag Free, Low Profile
  • CNC Billet Machined
  • 4130 Steel Bar Stock
  • Cerakoted Flat Dark Earth Finish
  • Circular Button with Serrated Texture

Forward Controls Design are masters at improving the overall function of your AR-15 and the Low Drag Forward Assist or LDFA is another example of their attention to detail. Forward Controls believes that the forward assist is here to stay, plus you just might need it, but you don’t need it getting in the way.

Looks great and matches FDE. Steep price, but only FDE forward assist I could find.
