The Geissele Automatics Super Duty MOD 1 HBAR 5.56 NATO Complete Upper Receiver is built on the Super Duty platform, designed for consistent performance under high-volume fire. It features a thicker HBAR barrel profile with a .812 gas journal, a custom reinforced .812 gas block, and a significantly thicker Super HBAR straight gas tube. This design helps manage heat effectively without sacrificing accuracy.

Both the Geissele Cold Hammer Forged (CHF) barrel and Forged Stressproof Bolt undergo High-Pressure Testing (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) to ensure reliability. The 14.5” barrel comes equipped with a pinned and welded HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device, which is compatible with the HUXWRX FLOW series. The MK16 rail features stainless steel QD inserts for reinforced sling attachment points. Completing the upper is the Airborne Charging Handle, providing ambidextrous control and a low profile to prevent snagging.
