The Hodge Defense Systems Mod 3 URG is a robust and reliable barreled upper receiver designed for serious use. This 12.5" model combines the proven strength of Hodge Defense's Mod 2 upper receiver, crafted from C405 aluminum, with the S-lock handguard. What sets the Mod 3 apart is its one-piece top rail, made from durable 7075 aluminum. This single-piece design significantly reduces rail deflection, making it a stable foundation for lasers and passive aiming devices.

The top rail securely fastens to both the receiver and handguard with five stainless-steel screws, ensuring consistent performance. Rigorous testing, including extensive drop tests and a demanding full-auto firing schedule, has demonstrated the platform's durability.
