The Howa 1500 barreled action is dropped into a Hogue rubber overmolded stock for its weather resistance and durability, light weight, and tactile yet comfortable texture. Additionally, the stock is pillar bedded for an extremely strong lock up between the action and stock aiding in accuracy. This model comes with a 22 inch barrel that is threaded 5/8x24 for use with muzzle brakes and suppressors. The scope included with this 30-06 rifle is a premium Nikko Stirling 3.5-10x44 scope with a ZEROLOK base and ring. Like other Howa rifles, this comes with a forged, one-piece bolt with dual locking lugs and a two-stage HACT trigger that is light and crisp. A three position safety allows you to remove the bolt while the rifle is safe without having to pull the trigger like older bolt action rifles.
