IWI Tavor X95 300 Blackout 16.5" 30RD - Flat Dark Earth

You loved the Tavor SAR, but some people had complaints about some of the aspects of its design such as the trigger, magazine release placement, charging handle, and much more. Israeli Weapon Industries listened and redesigned the Tavor to improve upon these problems, making the battle proven weapon system much more suitable for the US market. One of the most important improvements the IWI Tavor X95 offers is the brand-new fire control pack. This redesigned trigger brings the total pull weight down to an average 5-6 pounds while also eliminating the “mushy” feeling the previous trigger had. While the trigger still has a long pull, it is lighter and smoother with a crisp break, making the FDE X95 much easier to shoot accurately. With the popularity this bullpup rifle has in the United States, one of the most obvious changes IWI needed to make was the positioning of the magazine release to a more familiar AR-15 style position. Now the button can easily be accessed with the shooting finger from either the right or left side, so you don’t have to retrain your muscle memory when trying to do quick mag changes. If you love the idea of a bullpup for home defense, a truck gun, or range practice, but were holding off due to the complaints that the SAR received, now is the time to pull the trigger with the X95 FDE.

Another improvement this rifle has received is the placement of the non-reciprocating charging handle. It has been brought rearward a few inches to the center of mass, making it much easier to charge the weapon as well as help to balance the weight of the rifle right over the pistol grip. The ambidextrous bolt release remains in the same position behind the magwell but is recessed to prevent accidental activation. Like everything else on this gun, the ejection port can be configured to eject casings to either side for depending on your preference.

The IWI Tavor X95 300 Blackout is also no slouch when it comes to modularity. The pistol grip can easily be swapped out to a more traditional style without the cutlass style trigger guard. The front handguard also hides picatinny rails underneath the polymer rail covers, so you can attach lights or other accessories. Even though this is the 300 BLK model, conversion kits are available to quickly change calibers to either 5.56 NATO or 9mm. The flat top picatinny rail is a solid mounting point for optics and it even features integrated flip up iron sights with the front sight having a Tritium insert.
