Honestly, it's the best bang for the buck!

I wish I'd had this available before I purchased the Sig Sauer Ambi Mag Catch because this works much more smoothly and with less effort than the Sig version. While similar, the UTG is actually more "extended," making the ergonomics brilliantly smooth with flawless operation. The right side has the option of the either standard mil-spec button you're used to, or an extension tab that screws onto the button, all without having to pay extra! While Sig is good, this is much better IMHO.
The only possible knock on this would be that, because of the thickness, it does SLIGHTLY interfere with the small, mil-spec bolt catch button. This becomes a non-issue after a little practice because the functionality grossly outweighs this issue.
Right or left handed, this really is one of the best functioning and most affordable mag releases out there and you'll NOT be disappointed
