The Magnum Research BFR is... well... a big freaking revolver. Or, as they like to call it, the Biggest Finest Revolver. It is aptly named because this chunk of steel is chambered in the 45-70 rifle cartridge. That's right, a rifle bullet stuffed into a 5 round revolver. Not only is the cylinder extra long to facilitate the longer bullets but this model features a 10" barrel making it a true monster to wield. The brushed stainless steel construction is built to withstand the high pressures and the black rubber grips help to soak up very little recoil but hey, any bit helps. The rear sight and hammer have been redesigned for a better shooting experience allowing you to be more accurate and manipulate the weapon easier. The single action trigger features a 4-5 lb. pull. If you truly need a hand cannon for bear country or simply want to show off at the range, you can't go wrong with the Magnum Research BFR in 45-70.
