Details

The Magpul MOE QD Sling Attachment mounts directly to MOE handguards providing a forward sling attachment point for push-button QD slings. The MSA QD is made from Melonite finished steel for wear and corrosion resistance.

NOTE: To accommodate the MSA QD a MOE accessory slot must be enlarged. Instructions and hole saw are provided. A drill is required for installation.

Great mount, but permanent

In order to install this qd mount, you are required to drill a hole in your hand guard, because the male end on the qd mount does not fit into the slot that you mount the attachment to. I did not understand this completely when I bought this product. It does not bother me to much, because I do not plan to ever move this accessory. If you want to keep your rifle completely customizable, you might want to consider something else though. Other than that, I really like this attachment. It does exactly what it is designed to do. I cannot ever see this thing breaking!

Overall I had good customer service. The prices are a bit high for an online dealer as I found the same product locally after I already purchased it for 1/3 less. The people I spoke with were good and friendly but the cost I would expect would be better. I will definitely check prices locally before ordering again.

Ditch the cutter, 3/8" drill bit works better

The MSA itself works just fine once installed but the aluminum cutter it comes with dulled on the poly before it cut through. The cutter successfully made the metal very hot. I Finished with a 3/8 drill bit. Should have started with it.
