Wont Hold zero...

by

I bought this mount for my Kel-tec sub2000 gen2. It wont hold zero. There is a slight amount of play in the swivel which allows about 18" shift in the point of impact at 30 yds. I tried to tighten everything down , but still same results.

Will not hold zero

The mount will not hold zero. There is a little bit of play in the swivel part where it snaps into place.

problem with my midwest mount

by

I just purchased your sub 2000 and Midwest MI-G2SUB-T2 Kel-Tec Optic Mount but the problem is that although the Midwest solves the mounting issue of a red bot sight well. Their attachment process is lacking, it will not hold zero. The M nuts they provide are not sufficient to hold the sight in place. It may be the plastic hand guard is too soft or more likely the area of the m nuts is small and not sufficient to hold properly. MIdwest has no solution. Does anyone have some kind of a large back plate that covered a larger surface area of the hand guard then the M nuts provide making it more stable/secure? anyone have a solution?.

Mine holds zero

I torqued the rail and torqued all the fasteners properly and it has held zero well. Shot 3 matches with it. Approx. 350-400 rounds. so far.
