Rock Solid - Easy to Fold
by Tyler
My stock was easy to fold out-of-the-box and locks up rock solid. Very impressed! It looks great on my MP5K. I have a JMAC folding stock too, but I got this thing for half the cost of a JMAC and the lock-up feels just as solid.
Good stock once it gets worked in
by Joe
I bought this stock in a bundle with the FM Gen2 upper. I agree it is really stiff and difficult to operate initially, but after using it for about a month - it was much easier to use. I would prefer for it to be stiff in the beginning and work out to perfect later instead of perfect initially and within a month become unusable because its too loose.
The other two reviews for this item are by separate people, but have very similar words and phases - possibly written by same person with a gripe against this product or company?
I'm in the market for another stock like this and I will probably get a second one soon.
Difficult to fold
by Jose -
Its not rocket science to fold close a stock but the spring tension on this stock is extremely difficult to put into the folded position. The stock itself is nicely made. perhaps a bit short even for me at 5'9". Opening from the folded position is not as difficult. However, if you are in law enforcement and this is the stock you bought, send it back. I probably will do the same as this is too difficult to use. With the spring tension it has, it should have two screw for the clamping device to go onto a picatiny rail. They need to rethink this one for sure
Difficult to fold

Its not rocket science however the spring tension is extremely stiff. It practically defeats the purpose of having a folding stock. This is so difficult to open and close I may just return this stock. Its definatly overpriced now that I have it. Installed it on my HK 416, if this is needed for any type of battle and you needed to quickly fold or unfold you would be taken out. Best to leave it either in the folded position or just extended. Maybe it needs a break in but I had a hell of a time defeating the spring tension to fold it. The stock itself is nice aluminum construction but I would like to see two bolts to hold in place on the picatinny to clamp on
