The upper features an 18” 5.56mm barrel constructed from 416R stainless steel with a 1:7 twist rate for excellent accuracy and durability. Each barrel is individually serialized for quality control and includes a hand-polished Noveske Match Chamber for optimal performance. It utilizes an intermediate-length gas system with a Noveske-marked low-profile gas block pinned to the barrel, ensuring secure alignment. The M4 barrel extension includes extended, hand-polished feed ramps, and the barrel is threaded ½”x28 with a Noveske Pig Pen suppressor-compatible muzzle device.

The 4th Generation billet upper receiver is precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and features extended feed ramps. It is hardcoat anodized (type III) and finished with Armor Black Cerakote for exceptional durability. Additional enhancements include a nitrided forward assist marked with the Noveske logo and the Noveske Love Handle ambidextrous charging handle. The upper features an anti-rotation interface with the handguard and comes equipped with a phosphate-coated, full-auto-compatible bolt carrier group. The carrier bore and key are chrome-lined, and the gas key is properly staked with grade 8 American-made fasteners. The Carpenter 158 steel bolt is heat-treated, phosphate-coated, and MPI-tested for reliability.

This complete upper includes a 4th Generation 15” NSR (Noveske Skinny Rail) free-floating handguard, featuring M-LOK mounting positions at every 45 degrees and a Picatinny 1913 top rail for accessory attachment. It is lightweight and includes a robust, American-made steel barrel nut for secure mounting.
