The 6.5 Grendel Type 2 Black Nitride Bolt Carrier Group features a full mass M16 cut carrier machined from case hardened 8620 tool steel. The bolt is machined from 9310 super alloy steel with a Type 2 bolt face for enhanced reliability. Both the carrier and bolt are finished in advanced Black Nitride for low friction and high corrosion resistance.
Safety Note: Choosing 6.5 Grendel comes with an added complication. There are “Type I” and “Type II” bolt/barrel specifications out there, and you CAN NOT mix and match parts for each of them without risk of damage and/or injury. Type II is by far the most popular configuration, but pay attention to what you are buying! A Type I bolt won’t chamber rounds in a Type II barrel at all. Even worse, a Type II bolt mated to a Type I barrel will create excessive headspace and result in a rifle that is dangerous to fire.

For a 6.5 Grendel, this is the right choice.

I used this bolt carrier along with the Odin 6.5 barrel for a Grendel build.
From the first shot, it ran flawlessly. Not a single issue to mention.
Not only did it run well, it threw all of the spent casings in one neat pile a few feet off my right shoulder. Easy clean up. Being properly gassed helped, too.
I can't say I have thousands of rounds through it, but so far it's been great.
I'm very happy with Odin products, and would recommend them highly.

Reliable and Solid 6.5 Grendel BCG. Functions flawlessly and cycles perfectly! Beautifully machined and no tooling marks present. I paired the Odin BCG, to my 6.5 Odin 20" DMR Barrel. The gun is an absolute tack driver! It's sub-MOA @ 100-meters and retains it's accuracy & MOA status out to 300-meters. The gas key is staked properly, more importantly, the gas key screws are torqued perfectly @ 52 in.-lbs. Proper torquing of gas key screws is ignored too often. I've had no extraction or ejection issues. It strips rounds perfectly, so there's no issue with feeding. The bolt face has been properly recessed at 0.134". The Nitride coating makes cleaning easy and fast. Carbon deposits just wipe away. Plus, the bolt itself cleans easily with minimal effort. Also, you don't have to spend excessive amounts of time, removing carbon build-up, it just wipes away! Overall, this BCG has functioned flawlessly. I would definitely recommend Odin's 6.5 BCG.

Bought this bcg, ran it with my ballistic advantage 20 inch barrel. Perfect for someone who doesn't like the nickel boron finish. Slick and wipes down easy. First class BCG. Will definitely buy another. Cant go wrong. As another review said its all in spec torque, staking everything. As always a big thumbs up for primary arms.

This BCG works perfectly in my Grendel build. I love Odin Works bolts and it’s the only use the Odin BCG’s in my builds.
6mm Arc

Ran it with my 6mm arc build. The packaging doesn’t say 6mm arc but the BCG itself is marked for 6.5grendel and 6mm arc. All in all a solid product.
