Odin Works Billet Slick Side AR-15 Upper Receiver

Excellent fit and finish. Feels very light and rigid.

I purchased one of these during the Primary Arms Christmas Sale. I really like the Odin Works design and style. Excellent quality in machining and finish.

This upper has the characteristics of quality machining and innovation. The lines are smooth and give a unique look to your upper without distracting its classic appearance.. It's solid and even with an over pressurized load, I wouldn't think it would fail, splinter or crack.. the billet construction lends itself to be operated in any condition or environment with confidence as the operator.. its finish is smooth and the matte black matches most rails that share its color. The inside of it is smooth and refined and the charging handle locks tightly in place and glides like skates on ice; during charging the upper.. it's hands down the upper that I would make if I had the machinery and tools to make my ideal upper.. it's one of the best that I've seen and use today. Primary arms has done a great job having this upper for sale.

Looks nice and functions very well, only thing is if you buy a midwest ind. free float, modifications will have to be done to the lower where the front takedown pin goes.

Caught this upper on sale and figured I'd give it a try for a build I been working on. I love the style and design of this piece but I only rated it four stars because I had to install the dust door I wish it was pre-installed cause the spring stretch the reciever a bit during install maybe that's normal idk. But I do recommend this upper without doubt

It's a great budget billet upper... it just looks dang cool! It mated quite well with an 80% lower I have for my current built. If you are planning or currently running a Magpul BAD lever, you will have to dremel or mill out a pocket so the lever can sit flush with receiver. The ridge engages the lever just enough that it causes the bolt catch to become engaged halfway.

Pretty disappointed with the overall fit of this upper receiver. It is loose on my Spike's lower, which fits well with several other uppers. The bolt carrier is loose enough inside the upper to allow it to twist about 10 degrees, and the charging handle is even sloppy. Not pleased, but at least it looks cool, right?

I like it looks great the size is perfect keeps the weight down simple and to the point. Gets the job done fits like it was made for my new frontier 80 lower. I'll buy another

bolt catch on lower contacts side of the Odin upper. there is no cutout for the bolt catch. pretty much every other upper has a cutout. it simply doesn't properly fit a mil spec lower. called Odin and they're aware of the issue but claim it's acceptable. no thanks.
