Good Choice, Good Fit But Color?
by ReconViper1 -
I purchased one of these from PA to replace my Strike Enhanced mag release and it appears to be a good choice. The Odin EMR III is compatible with my Strike anti-walk pins and my Troy ambi bolt catch but the "Gunmetal Grey" color is closer to a subdued silver than my expected matte grey. Not bright, not silver but not matte nor subdued.

Just like it is shown in photo

The product looks exactly like the image provided. The other reviewer's failure to look at what he was purchasing before he purchased it is his fault, not the product's.
I've had this on my rifle for about half a year now and it is holding strong. Installation was easy to do in home with just a couple basic tools and a quick reference online to see how to replace a mag release. Once installed, the release has very little play. I have not had any issues with it performing its job and it has not loosened up even after dozens of mag changes.
I personally like the "skeletonized" style of the release, and I also like that it doubles as a nifty little indexing rest for my trigger finger when not firing.
