The Peltor 3M ComTac VI Defender is the latest iteration of the ComTac series of electronic earmuffs. This headset features improved omni-directional environmental microphones, with IP68 noise cancellation, NIB and MAP technologies, and a self-leveling electronic hearing protection system.

The ComTac VI improves your ability to detect, identify, and localize sounds of any intensity level while providing you with crystal-clear communications, thanks to its self-leveling digital audio circuit. High-intensity sounds are reduced to a hearing-safe level, while weak and low-intensity sounds become fully audible and discernible.

This headset is compatible with Peltor ARC rail adapters for mounting on a helmet. It also comes with a pair of HY80 gel ear-seal cushions, improving comfort for extended usage periods.

With Mission Audio Profile technology, you can set your headset to one of four auditory settings (Observation, Patrol, Conversation, or Comfort), adjusting the frequency response according to your current mission and needs.
