QC Not What You Would Expect For $

by -

Shipped on 3/3/17. Preparing to lap the new low mount rings for an M1A Pic mount, I marked the ring halves to match back up later and removed the allen screws. One of the screws would not back out. I had to pull it out with the top half of the ring. The screw was not threaded! What was so odd is that it had the same diameter as the thread minor diameter so it just slipped into the the threaded base hole and would not rise when reversed. QC not where it should be? Had to scrounge up an Allen head screw that had the right spec to continue. Not worth sending back to PA. Discouraged.

<br>From PA: I'm sorry these got past us. They have been a solid and reliable product. We will re-check our inventory. Please do contact us if you have any further problems. We would have been happy to rush you out replacement screws or other parts.
