Outstanding glass with very low view profile/target obstruction
by AaronC
This is an awesome LPVO on par with the Vortex Razor and other premium scopes with the bonus of the amazing ACSS reticle. I would HIGHLY recommend it over all other 1-8 LPVOs.
It's a keeper!

Overall: Great optic – slick combo with a Scalarworks Leap 08 on my 16” AR. I Exchanged a NightForce NX8 1-8 MOA right after buying, and comparatively - wouldn’t want to give this one up.
PROS:
Great packaging. Shorter and lighter than most, particularly at price point. Excellent turrets with positive adjustment at .1MOA. “Off-stops” between illumination settings - how they all should be. Decent throw-lever included. Adjustments and fitment are tight and crisp. Great glass, good eye relief and eye box – usable at both 1X for reaction/CQB and at 8X as a scope. Reticle is excellent, about perfect – at 1X has the look of an enhanced red-dot with crossbars quickly guiding you in, and as you ratchet up magnification the finer details of the ACSS begin to open up for BDC, etc. Many built-in holdovers and references to use on that end.
CONS:
Could use more brightness for daytime (similar with FFP’s in general) and scale brightness better across the 10 levels.
Right up there with the premium competition...+ACSS

I compared the Vortex and Nightforce scopes to this and you can't beat the quality PLUS having the ACSS reticle. The eye relief is good. You won't be disappointed with this scope.
Clear, flat-ish, wide FoV

Given the design constraints (1-8x FFP LVPO) this optic is outstanding.
I'm very impressed with this Japanese glass, overall build quality, turrets and lightweight for the design. There's minimal distortion at 8x given it's a FFP 1-8x LVPO. You can see some outer edge bending at 8x but it's not distracting and won't give you a headache like cheaper glass will over hours of spotting.
Side note, the customer service at PA was fantastic at helping alleviate a minor order issue. Great people.
Keep up the great work PA!
Phenomenal Optic
by Mike
For context, I have a collection of Trijicon, Vortex, and Nightforce LPVOs mounted on my rifles and have used many others through the years. This is my new favorite. I'm blown away by the quality and practicality of this optic. It's incredibly lightweight, solid, compact, and despite all these typically "compromising" qualities when it comes to optical performance, it outperforms all of my other LPVOs in clarity and FOV. The gun community often overstates how many optics in this price range "perform just as good as the $3k scopes" but in this case it's 100% true, and then some. Primary Arms you've accomplished something incredible with this scope!
Best AR general optic available in any price range
by Josh C
The reticle with the firm factor is game changing. Best reticle in class, no questions asked. Easy, simple, and fast. The 1x is slower than 1x on a 4x or 6x, but physics. It’s tough and very light. I prefer it over my ATACR, NX8, or razor g2. Mounted with a reptilia AUS and an RMR on top it is superbly versatile and lighter than any other package I’ve tried. The glass is good you can’t appreciate it at this magnification. If you want to dial, do it. The turrets are smooth and accurate, but the reticle makes it unneeded. I can’t speak highly enough about this scope. In the LPVO 1-6 through 1-10 class it is the best on the market, for any price.
PLX-1-8X24MM FFP RIFLE SCOPE

Everything exactly as advertised. It was really easy to sight in. Glass is clear and the reticle works like a charm. Was hitting groups of 1moa or less within 15 minutes of my first shot.
Outstanding

After going back and forth between this guy, the NX8, and the Razor gen 2 I went with the PLXC and I’m glad I did.
Just like everyone says… lite weight, clear glass, very bright “dot” and the ACSS reticles are always awesome.
Outstanding

This review is based on quality alone as I haven't shot it yet. I own two SLx LPVOs for reference. Moving up to this scope was like going from 1080P to 4k. It's built like a tank yet weighs slightly over 1 pound. Don't get me wrong the SLx is worth every penny and are great but this is next level
Wow...

This is my first "nice" scope, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm completely blown away by the quality though.
Performance at 1x is absolutely fantastic. Seriously, I've never seen a scope with such a flat image at 1x, let alone with the clarity this thing has. It's pretty amazing. Everything looks amazing up until about 6x, where the image starts to fall apart a bit. Adjusting the diopter again an this point helps a bit, but this optic seems to shine between 1-6x. At 8x, the image quality isn't as impressive, and the eye box gets really tight. It's still useable, but having transitioned from the wonderful views at low magnification it's a bit of a letdown at 8x.
I would really like to see an optic with these same qualities but limited to/more optimized for 1-6x.
