Good pull and reliable as advertised
by Paul
Good reliability, 100% ignition with the ammo I use (IMI, Lake City). As easy to install as the original mil-spec springs.
Essential Cheap Mil-Spec Trigger Upgrade
by MdBostnMt -
On my last build I used an AGL trigger. Probably the most dissappointing mil-spec type trigger I've ever used. I swapped in this spring set to mitigate the disappointment. It helped greatly. It's still not as good as the PSA enhanced with the same spring set, but it's not bad. I've not had any light strikes with either set of these springs that I have used. Seems to be an excellent upgrade.
Failed Miserabley
by Thomas -
I installed these springs in my lower AR pistol I build before testing it out at the range. I had misfires one after the other and it barely shot, maybe a few rounds shot through. After jams and feeling issues, as replaced with the mil spec springs I brought just incase and it fired flawlessly with hundreds it rounds. I'm not sure if I got a bad spring kit but, I will not put them in any firearm I have again.
We are happy we spoke to you on this issue and please let us know if we cam help you with anything else.
Nice upgrade

One of the best "Bang" for your buck upgrades for a mil spec trigger.
Best Trigger enhancement for the buck
by Michael -
I just now installed this kit on a nasty +/- 8# trigger in an AR pistol I recently assembled. The measured trigger pull after installation was between 4-4.25#. I have not shot it yet, but if this gives positive ignition to all types of ammo, this is the way to go for a better trigger.
great trigger
by Stuart
I bought the hammer, sear and spring kit some years ago and I just love it. Very smooth, no creep, adjustable weight. I can't think of a better trigger for an AR-15. I would not hesitate to buy another if i I got another AR.
Best money I've spent on a trigger upgrade
by Josh A -
The best $10 you'll ever spend on your mil spec trigger. I have a Saint Victor pistol. The trigger components are nickel boron coated and even though it's a little less than the 8lb mil spec trigger pull, it was still heavier than I wanted. It was pulling around 6.5lb. By just swapping out these 3 springs the weight is now down to exactly 4lb consistently. It's very smooth and feels amazing. I just installed it, so I can't say if there'll be any light strikes and I'll update if need be. But I doubt I'll have any issues. If you want a new, lighter trigger, try this kit before you go spend $150+. I think you'll be very pleased with what you get. But if somehow you're not, you'll only be out $10. My next purchase will consist of one of the JP silent captured buffer springs and several more of these trigger spring kits for my other rifles and pistols. Fantastic job JP Enterprises, and thanks to Primary Arms for outstanding shipping times and great customer service.
Budget way to reduce trigger pull weight
by JJ -
Budget way to reduce ar-15 trigger pull weight. Had an Smith and Wesson M&P-15 that had a mushy trigger and god awful trigger pull. But replacing the springs with this helped reduce the mushy feeling and reduce the trigger pull to about 4lb 6 oz almost 2lb deducted from original.
Great mod to Mil-Spec triggers
by Adolph -
Had two ARs that had 7# trigger pulls (a Windham Weaponry & a standard Mil-Spec kit in a Striker Lower). Ordered the springs, shipped fast, and did a simply install. Both ARs now test out with 4# trigger pulls. Took the Mil-Spec hammer and bobbed it to look like the hammers on the JP and Anderson drop-in triggers, and the trigger pull down to 3.6#. On the range, I had no lite strikes or problems, and groups were tighter.
Definite Upgrade!
by Olemite
Installed these on a Spikes Battle Trigger and went from an average trigger pull of 7 lbs. to a smooth crisp 4.5 lb average trigger pull. Very Nice!
