The ALG Defense Advanced Combat Trigger (ACT) is a premium upgrade for AR-15 rifles, designed for shooters seeking the trusted reliability of a mil-spec trigger with enhanced smoothness, sharpness, and corrosion resistance. Featuring a pull weight above 5.5 lbs to meet M4/M16 military specs, the ACT improves upon standard triggers with HardLubing—ALG's advanced electroless nickel plating process using Boron or Teflon to deliver superior wear resistance, low friction, and excellent corrosion protection. ACT for ar-15

Just received my ALG advanced combat trigger today. Install was smooth and fit great. Feels great on a snap cap. Can't wait to get it to the range. Shipping was extremely fast. Great experience so far. I will definitely order more of the for my other rifles.

New ALG DEFENSE TEIGGER

by -

My old mil spec trigger was having reset issues. A good buddy said drop one of these in and don’t look back. After much reviewing and then a PA summer sale I “pulled the trigger” and bought one. WOW!! Didn’t know what I was missing. Soooo much better, crisper on trigger pull. I’ve since run 200 rds of various manufacturer ammo and bullet weights. No issues. Just smiles. Thanks

Excellent milspec upgrade

I had a no-name parts kit for my lower, but in preparation for my first competition, a friend suggested this trigger to me since I prefer a Single Stage trigger. It was a night and day difference once I installed it. The clean break helped me understand some of my own errors of technique when doing dry fire practice, and I surpassed my expectations for my first competition. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a good single stage trigger.

Must Have Upgrade

by

Bought this to replace an ancient mil-spec trigger. The difference is night and day. The ALG ACT is absolutely clean with zero grit. Installed it with the 6lb trigger and it feels great - definitely lighter than my old trigger. The break and reset are crisp and predictable.

Cannot recommend this trigger enough.

Amazing trigger.

I have had my LWRC M6A5 for quite a few years now. A friend of mine bought one cause she loved shooting my riffle. Well when she got it we found the trigger was different so much smoother and a little lighter. So I called LWRC and they told me they did not sell it was only sold with complete riffles. They sent me a link to ALGs site so I could purchase one. Love their customer service. So I bought this trigger for both of my riffles. Zero regret and absolutely love this trigger.

Geissele on a budget!

Well re-worked stock-style trigger. Unless I need a Geissele performance trigger, this is my (8 so far) standard installation trigger. Very much like a polished and custom stock unit, but more dependable. Quality is constant and hasn't changed since the first one went in over eight years ago, and that one is still pretty and runs my DMR. Pull weight is good for home defense scenarios and won't give you a problem if you ever have to 'mortar' a round out of the chamber.

It does...

...what it’s supposed to. And does it better than others. Works every time.

Click and go bang

I pull the trigger until it goes click. It clicks nice and smooth. The click reset is short. Thank you for your time.

Good, but mine needed help

by

I installed this and during function check, it would not reset. I narrowed the problem down to the hammer, lightly polished the hook with sandpaper for about 5 seconds, and now it functions properly. Pull is smooth, better than mil-spec and great for the price.

Trigger Doesn't Reset

by -

First off, excellent service by PA! No complaints there. I read good things about this trigger and I wanted it to be as good as the reviews, but that wasn't the case for me. After I installed the trigger I went out to the range to test it and that's when I ran into a problem. After each shot, the trigger wouldn't reset. I had to manually prompt it forward to reset it after every shot. I took it apart and after some troubleshooting I found the problem was that the the trigger itself was too heavy/large for the trigger spring to reset it. I tried a couple other mil spec trigger springs, but nothing seemed to fix the problem. I finally jury-rigged a working solution by combining a PSA mil-spec trigger with the ALG hammer and disconnect.

Overall, appears to be a well made system. Minus the functioning part.
